Happy Christmas From the Bolton Brothers Team
All of the Directors and the team at Bolton Brothers would like to wish all our customers and suppliers an enjoyable Christmas and a prosperous and healthy new year.
As many of you will know we have had a great year celebrating our 50th anniversary which was rounded off with a celebratory party in September attended by clients, suppliers, staff, family and friends who all gathered to mark the landmark achievement.
We are proud that Bolton Brothers continues to grow and thrive on a tradition of quality, reliability and personalised service that’s as relevant today as it was a half-century ago. We now employ over 50 people at our two recycling plants in Great Blakenham, Ipswich.
Reaching 50 years in business is a big achievement and we would like to take this opportunity to thank our employees, customers and suppliers for being such an integral part of our success.
In the spring of this year we expanded our shredding service with the introduction of a mobile on-site shredding truck. The new mobile shredding service was a direct result of customer demand as on-site shredding is extremely cost effective when it comes to disposal of confidential documentation. It has already proved to be extremely popular.
In September we joined forces with the Suffolk Fashion Show. Not only as a sponsor but by putting together a very special section in the show.
The connection was Florence Bolton-Smith, 21, daughter of Jodi Bolton-Smith who is our Director of HR and Finance.
Florence is studying Textiles and Fashion at Norwich University of The Arts. The Completion of her first year provided her with the insight and inspiration to combine her flare for fashion and trends with the learnt technical skills she has acquired, to create a very current artistic expression of recycling and sustainability, especially for the show.
This year we also launched our new website and taken delivery of a brand new baler costing in excess of £500,0000.
Moving into 2020 we have plans for the company’s future growth and expansion across the region with major emphasis on their confidential shredding & recycling services along with ensuring customers get the best value from their waste by reducing and recycling.
We are in the process of updating and modernising our facilities at Great Blakenham including our recently refurbished offices on site.
