Business wants to source more PP Rigids, Wheelie Bins and PE Pipe Grade Plastics
We have just invested £100k in a new washing line for rigid plastic processing. This includes a new friction washer, 8-metre long sink float tank, centrifugal dryer and associated screw conveyors and fans.
The new upgraded plant will be capable of processing over 2 tonnes per hour of wheelie bins and other rigid plastics including, shredding, demetalising, washing, drying, regrinding to 12mm chips and bagging into new 2.2-metre-tall big bags.
We are now actively looking to source more PP rigids, PE rigids, HDPE wheelie bins and PE Pipe grades from processing through our new plant.
The investment will help us increase our production capacity and give confidence to the market to recover good quality rigid PP & PE plastics and reduce the amount of plastic content reaching landfill/incineration.
